Dr Jennifer Creese has been selected as a 2024/5 Reform Scholar with Reform Thinktank. The Reform Scholar programme invites selected academic researchers from across the nation to work with policy specialists to create policy recommendations for improvements to national systems and services, with a direct channel to key policymakers in government and beyond.

Dr Creese’s policy paper, to be co-published with Reform in June 2025, will set out a new vision for retention and community engagement for resident doctors in the NHS. Looking at policy and practice internationally, her policy paper will explore models to improve training and integration into local communities for resident doctors, improving career development and retention and enriching localised health and wellbeing through community partnership.
